ZynAddSubFX

Requirements:

a fast computer (depend on what you do with the synth)
Linux or BSD (tested nightly with FreeBSD and Slackware) or Windows (2.2.1 and prior only)
FLTK 1.x.x (tested with fltk 1.1.0, 1.1.2 and others)
FFTW 3.x.x - necessary for Fast Fourier computations
zlib and mxml library
(recommended but not required) a MIDI keyboard
for LINUX:
- ALSA 0.9.x (with OSS emulation if you don't use JACK) or OSS, for midi in
- (not required, but recommended) JACK Audio Connection Kit
- (not really required) PortAudio
for Windows
- if you compile yourself, you need PortAudio; MinGW and Msys from here. Also, you need the pthreads (GC) for win32.
